Yemaya is a company that started in 2015. It was during my last year of High school that I was inspired to start my own business. Growing up my parents were successful business owners and I knew that this was what I wanted for myself as well. One of my really good friends had started their own business as a caregiver through this online service so I took it upon myself to create a profile as a housekeeper. I began flourishing and making headway in my newly formed business. My friends and family then started using my services and it was through them that I was able to get referrals. This also led to people leaving reviews on the online profile I created as a housekeeper.

As time went on I was able to finish school and at this point, I had a pretty heavy book of business and decided to form a team to help me service my clients and provide exceptional service. This is How Yemaya Housekeeping came to be. Yemaya is a name that comes from my catholic beliefs. In My culture, Yemaya is a saint who helps people no matter who you are or the circumstances someone is in. Yemaya Housekeeping has come a long way and with the help of God, we will continue to grow and work hard to become the best House Keepers.
